In light of Valentine’s Day, we thought we’d come up with a little bit of “gaming love” by coming up with some gaming characters that we think should totally be dating. We thumbed through all of the gaming characters that we thought just made perfect sense together, whether they are from the same game or not.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) & Nathan Drake (Uncharted)
I think this one really speaks for itself if you are familiar with these two characters. Both are in the same area of business, per say. Both like to go adventuring into tombs and caves to uncover clues and secrets to finding various treasures in the world. Just imagine for a minute if these two teamed up – they’d be unstoppable in the world of treasure-hunting. Also, talents aside, they’d make quite the cute couple, don’tcha think?
Sheik (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) & Ezio (Assassin’s Creed)
Okay, okay, I know what many of you are thinking… but Sheik is a BOY!!! Now, now, hold up…
**SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED OCARINA OF TIME**
Sheik is Princess Zelda, so even though the character looks quite androgynous, the character is in fact female. With that now being cleared up, onto my reasoning. They are both in business of stealth, and both have some pretty sweet threads to boot.
Cloud (Final Fantasy VII) & Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
I mean, both of their names are weather-related, so why not? Just kidding… While they are from the same series, many think they are carbon copies of one another, having similar attitudes and emo-ness. So I say, why not? Maybe they can make each other feel better about themselves, who knows, but I ship them nonetheless.
Dante (Devil May Cry) & Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
Both are supreme badasses who are awesome at shooting up the baddies and bringing balance back to the world, so why shouldn’t they date? They’d be an unstoppable team, and no one would dare take them on while they are side by side. Though I also feel that since both of them are rather bull-headed, their relationship could be quite the conundrum.
