Over a year ago, we were told about the Onimusha-Dark souls hybrid that would go by the name Nioh from Team Ninja at the 2015 PlayStation Experience. Originally imagined for the PlayStation 3, Nioh released on February 7 of this year on the PlayStation 4. Recently, Team Ninja has outlined some DLC that will be making it’s way to the game in the form of both free and paid DLCs.
The details about the DLC came about in a livestream from Japan. The free updates will start rolling out sometime late March, and will include “high-difficuklty” missions, as well as new modes, there being 10 types in all. Sometime in April, we will also be seeing a PvP multiplayer mode come to the game.
Near the end of April we will also see the first of the paid DLC, Dragon of the North. With this DLC, we’ll see new weapons, scenarios, stages, characters, and more. There will be two more paid DLC packs to follow, and you can get all three with the $25 season pass.
